Campaigning for CPSD Board
Running for CPSD Board is a significant decision both for campaigning and ultimately serving on the Board after elected.
It will take time, effort, money, research, and dedication.
The reward is your ability to chart the course of education, our children’s and community’s future from the “inside” of CPSD.
Campaigns are a relatively short 6 month long sprint and intense.
On the Board is more like 4 year marathon requiring perseverance.

Filing opens May 15 at 9 a.m. - closes May 19 at 4:00 p.m

Voter pamphlet deadline: Friday, May 26, at 4:30 p.m. (Biography, photo, 200 word statement)

CARES has briefings establishing and running your campaign, how to raise contributions, Public Disclosure Commission requirements, mailers, handouts, effective door belling, campaign signage, issue development, preparation for debates, allied organization support, and a host of other educational services and advice.
